From Denver, take Interstate 25 to Colorado 66 (Longmont - Lyons) exit. From the small community of Lyons, you can travel either US 36 or Highway 7 (Peak to Peak Highway) to Estes Park. You may also reach Estes Park from US 34 by way of the city of Loveland and along the Big Thompson Canyon.

Between Memorial Day and early to mid-October, Estes Park is also accessible from the west by way of Trail Ridge Road (US 34) from Granby and Grand Lake.
